New Natural Health Book Finished

Yesterday marked the day of our Natural Health book being finished.  Six years in the making.  It is off to the printers now for a draft copy, then after that we will order what is needed.  When they are available for you to purchase I will let you know. For this I am happy, as now I can get away from this computer.  Sitting inside day after day isn’t the best thing a person can do.  But it needed doing.  Today I will rest up a touch, get my mind focusing back on what is important to me and getting outside more.  Enjoy your day.  You can reach me George Walters at [email protected]

Happenings In And Around Port Loring Ontario

Good Morning: Touch cool this morning but things will warm up.  Temperatures waking up were sitting at -7.3 C | 18.86 F.

Forecast For Today:  Showery early, improving.  Should warm up to around 3 C / 35 F.  Sunshine will follow.

Highway Report:  Highway 522 is bare an dry throughout.  Travelling will be good.

Snow Report:  No snow accumulations over night.

Around Town.  Took a drive to North Bay yesterday.  Just because I can.  Had a great day.  Went out to lunch with my son Karl.  Had a great time.  Stores were packed all over town.  Line ups at checkouts were amazing.  So many folks out and about shopping, happy and you could say, enjoying life.  Much needed in such a fast pace world we live in today.  I was also amazed to see so many deer on the way home.  My wife counted 48 deer along side Highway 522 coming in from Highway 11.  Some folks say they were killed over winter some say wolves.  I will say this.  Nature has her way of fixing things.  There has been literately hundreds  if not thousands born over winter.  They are every where.  Nature always amazes me.  The thing that is needed is for us humans to take notice.  Enjoy your day and stay safe.  You can reach me George Walters at [email protected]

Good Morning:  Well a bit cooler this morning.  Waking up temperatures were sitting at -5.8 C | 21.56 F.  Will warm up some as the day moves forward.

Forecast For Today:  Fairly fine, possible showers early.

Snow Report:  No snow accumulations over night.

Highway Report:  Highway 522 is bare and dry throughout.  Travelling will be good.

Around Town:  Stores and places of business are slow.  Seems the transition between seasons has a way of doing that.  With Easter upon us I suspect there are some happy children running around looking for Easter Eggs. Which is needed.  Brings families just that much closer together.  For those without children look out upon Nature, her treasures are there for all to enjoy asking nothing in return.   In saying that I am in hopes that you all have a great weekend.  You can reach me at [email protected]

Good Morning:  Well nice looking day waking up.  Temperatures rose through the night sitting this morning at, 4.2 C | 39.56 F.

Forecast For Today;  Will be somewhat cloudy today and breezy.  Temperatures will rise through the day to 10 C / 50 F. Them temperatures will melt a lot of ice and snow.  We could see some light rain later on also.

Snow Report:  No snow here waking up.

Highway Report:  Highway 522 is bare and dry throughout.  Travelling should be good for most of the day.

Around Town:  Not much to report.  My wife noticed yesterday a tulip showing itself in our garden..  It is struggling with snow all around it.  Nature is amazing to say the least.  Also got some snow drops making an appearance which is a sure sign warmer weather isn’t far off.  Tea time here, English Breakfast is on the menu with a touch of turmeric.  Great for maintaining a healthy body.  Enjoy your day, try and get some fresh air and sunshine, and stay safe.  You can reach George Walters at [email protected]

Happenings In & Around Port Loring Ontario

Good Morning:  Well find looking day starting off April.  Temperatures were a touch cool sitting at -8.4 C | 16.88 F.  It will warm up as the day moves forward.  Spring is here.

Forecast For Today: Rather unsettled clearing later with some sunshine.  Tonight we will get some freezing rain.

Highway Report:  Highway 522 is bare and dry.  Travelling will be good through most of the day.  Tonight could become quite bad with the freezing rain that is heading our way.

Snow Report:  No snow accumulations overnight.

Around Town:  Still quiet around town.  Not many cars or trucks moving up and down the highway.  But that will change in the coming days.  Once the snow has left a whole new agenda starts to take place.   Yards being cleaned up.   Plans for the coming season business wise. Trips to far off places,  Firewood for next year being piled where it is dry.  Gardens being looked at and planned out, and my most favourite, bringing out the old rocking chairs for some front porch sittin’.  I look forward to enjoying a tea chatting to my lovely wife soaking up some morning sunshine.  Tea tor today is from the petals of the Calendula flower.  Great tasting tea for all kinds of ailments, or just to fortify the body for the coming day.  Try it sometime, or better yet grow some this year yourself. In doing so you will have the best of the best tea available to you all year round for free.
