Ruth can create a family heirloom commissioned painting featuring your children, relatives or pets. Consider capturing your home, cottage or favourite setting with artistic touches that say much more than a snapshot.

Commissioned paintings can be created from photographs. Natural lighting (sunlight) works best to show true colours. It is preferable to see the subjects and photograph them myself, but if that is not possible, clients may provide me with their own suitable photographs.

Once a suitable material is selected, we would then discuss the best options to represent the subject and create the painting. Because each commissioned piece is unique, prices will vary. Quotes will be based on size, complexity, media and time involved. We can also create note cards and stationery based on the painting.
