Good Morning!. It’s a cloudy day here in Port Loring, Ontario, Canada. We haven’t seen any sunshine now for around three days. The temperature though, has remained quite warm for this time of year sitting at 1.4 C | 34.52 F. It will start to cool down some as the day progresses’s. We also have a storm watch, for our area, and those around us, starting tomorrow. Snow will begin Saturday morning and last into Sunday. The heaviest snow is expected Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning. We can expect 10 to 25 cm or 4 to 10 Inches. I have no use for the metric system, as all that did was cost us a bundle of taxpayers’ money, along with other things I won’t get into. Highway 522 is bare and dry this morning and should remain that way for most of the day. I would think if you’re in need of some groceries, or? This would be the day to get them. For my wife and I we have all we need for a few weeks. Which is a good thing to have on hand in this neck of the woods. Yesterday I didn’t do too much. Taking it easy. I have been keeping my woodworking shop stove going though, as it is nice to go out there when it is nice and warm. It also makes it nice having all my equipment warm and ready to use when I feel the urge. LOL I suspect my snow blower will be getting another work out on Sunday when this storm is finished. With that I am off for my morning cup of tea with my lovely wife and will then see what the day has in store. You never know. “Stay safe, protect each other, Love each other… but I think it is best not to get together this year for Christmas,” If we all do that, things will be a lot better for everyone, after Christmas And Hey! It isn’t for ever.
Episode 49: Hi folks. Today I have another Podcast Lined up for you. It’s a story that I hope you enjoy. Have a great day and stay safe.
Good Morning? It’s another cloudy day here in Port Loring, Ontario, Canada. The clouds will remain with us for most of the day. If we are lucky we should see some sunshine tomorrow. The temperature was sitting at 1.7 C | 35.06 F. It won’t warm up much more today. The storm they predicted, hit us yesterday, but not with the force they predicted. Even still … the winds did get quite high off and on throughout the day. The power remained on, but went off and on many times. We also got to finish watching the Masters Golf game with Dustin Johnson winning it at minus 20. I have to say he put on a great show. Along with the others too. So now we wait till April for the next one to come our way. Actually it isn’t that long off. Today I will get back to working on some Podcasts which I have in mind. Other than that I am going to take it easy. Rough life, huh? LOL In saying that … it didn’t come easy. With that I am off for my morning cup of tea and maybe a piece of toast with my lovely wife. Take care and be safe. Things aren’t good out there virus wise these days, and it’s closing in on us here in the remote areas as well.
Episode 47: Hi folks today I have another story lined up for you, that I am thinking a lot will enjoy, and maybe a few, might even identify with what is being said. Also, once again, my thanks goes out to all those that have gotten in touch with me, letting me know how much they are enjoying my Podcasts. Means a lot. And if you enjoy my podcasts, share them with others, as hey! You never know, they might just put a smile on someone’s face. And with what is going on in this world today, we could all use that. Man … closing in on 50 Shows so far! Time sure flies by. With that … I hope you enjoy: “Peashooters and Things.“
Good Morning! I am hoping everyone is well on this Friday the 13th. While on the subject of Friday the 13th, for myself I have found over the years that the 13th is a lucky day for me. Not sure why but good things seem to happen. I know those science guys or gals would say it’s a myth. But then a lot of things they say or said where a myth are turning out to be true. LOL At any rate … temperatures have sure cooled down for our area. Waking up here in Port Loring, Ontario, Canada they were sitting at 1.5 C | 34.7 F. It will warm up a touch as the day moves forward. But after that things become even colder. So we will see. Highway 522 has slowed down a lot these days. Some hunters have left the area with a few remaining. I don’t think it was a good year for hunting being so warm. I also believe once that first shot is fired them deer of old are gone into hiding. LOL Can’t say I blame them neither. Yesterday my wife and I had a great day watching the Masters Golf Game on TSN. It started off with a bit of rain but then I told it to stop and it did and was a great day after that for all the golfers. LOL The next three days look good weather wise too. Today we will be watching it again. At the end of the day Casey was winning it at minus 7. With that I am off for my morning cup of coffee with my lovely wife. Hmm, no, maybe I will have a cup of tea instead. I found that too much coffee isn’t the nicest on the old stomach. Take care, have a great day and stay safe. As this virus is surging rapidly all around us. I think the worst thing we could have done is opening businesses, letting them planes off the ground and opening schools. I said once they do that … we will be in for some hard times. And it’s happening now. Right now we aren’t doing what’s right in Ontario. So my friends if some aren’t doing what’s right … you do what’s right. Wear a mask, wash your hands, don’t touch your face and stay out of places unless it is absolutely necessary, and then think twice. GW
